ACMA 6th Annual Holiday Media Mixer Highlight Reel
I always endeavor to contribute to my society, especially for anti-racism. I devoted muchtime to support an NGO called Asian Culture & Media Alliance . I metcountless Asian-Americans and listened to stories about their fight to help their communities.Through research, I contacted and collaborated with these people to shoot the third season of the"Asian Voices" television show to spread cultural awareness of Asian-American and PacificIslander communities to other racial groups. Our goal was to replace ignorance and hatred withunderstanding to celebrate differences.
Brief Synopsis:
Trapped during the LA riots in a small medical clinic, a Korean American nurse struggles with her feelings toward a wounded black man knowing he is somehow involved in the disappearance of her own father. With time running out, she must decide whether to risk her own life to save his.

The film is about one college woman and one man who both having different social problems. During the climax of the film, they both erupted their own problem and bumped into each other...

We came up with the idea for this movie from the reality that people were encountering mental health issues and technology addiction especially harmful social media. Both of them lost their identity and were isolated from other students. Through this film, I hoped to reflect on the mental change in this half-screen creative way and call for more attention to people's mental health.
