This project is under NDA protection and our product didn’t launch yet.
What I accomplished?
  • “Mars” project is from 0 to 1, our UPUPOS iterated from pre-alpha to beta version, and I joined different modules, including Phone Clone,  XJ Record, System UI, Launcher and so on.
  • Presented INOS concept proposal as a group to display a whole VI design concept presentation, including inital idea "singular point", design element "circle" for several layers of meanings, light fluidty effects, weather wallpaper, AR voice, AI cartoon avatar, alive icon, sepcial customer services, IN community circle, and also realted "son of the universe" branding...
  • Researched target users and how to build a technology ecosystem through AR glasses, loT devices, phones and cars for the seamless information transformation to give our users the most prime user experiences. Explored the innovative gestures like double/triple knocking, double tapping the back of the phone, swiping down the bottom side of the phone, double nudging the top of the phone for jumping directly to different functions in a more effecient way.
  • Added password vault function in the privacy module and iteracted several other functions like multiple entrances for privacy space, security score improvement, payment security...
  • Crafted comparative analysis which only focused on high-end brand (Huawei and Apple) in all of the modules, l finished more than 10 modules.
What I learned?
  • This is my first time to work in a such big team, I encountered countless challenges during the collaboration, reviewing process is quite long, the repetitive responsibility, urgent requirement change... It's so important to understanding peers in the team, view the same question from others’ perspectives, insist on the reasonable viewpoints, communicate with others more actively.
  • Sharing design and asking questions when getting stuck is not a sign of showing weakness. Instead, knowing where my stand is is a faster way of learning and growing. In this way, noticing the problem before the trouble actually came can save me more times for useless revisements.
